Roadmap

What has just landed, what is being built and what comes after. No dates: each thing goes in once it is tested. Today the game has 15 skills, 33 regions, 77 monsters and 318 items.

Just arrived

Living capes

Seven boss capes with cloth that sways on your back and an effect along the hem: embers, lightning, snow, Void dust, venom, blood and gold.

The crypt for two

A dungeon in the Old Graveyard built for a pair: the gates only open with both players on the plates, and the Warden of the Two waits at the bottom.

Faster on mobile

Chat, backpack, auras and spells along the bottom; a touch wheel to light auras and ready spells; four one-tap shortcuts on the side.

Gear you can see

Coifs, gloves, boots, necklaces, staves and bows now show on the character, not just on the icon.

In progress

Burning Lands

The endgame continent behind the portal gets its remaining areas and the boss Ignar.

Up next

Summoning

A new skill: gather talismans, worship at an altar and summon a creature that fights, heals, carries or blesses for you. Details below.

Further ahead

Invention

The inventor's skill: potions of every kind, made-to-order potions and parts that give a weapon an effect for a while. Details below.

Summoning: how it will work

Every monster can drop a talisman. The chance is high but not certain, and each talisman takes one backpack slot.

The altar turns talismans into a creature. With talismans in your backpack, you click the altar and pick the creature from a menu like the Smithing one: those your level reaches are lit, the others wait.

Each talisman offered gives experience and fills that creature's seal bar. When the bar is full, the seal is yours.

The seal summons the creature, one at a time. It follows you for a while and vanishes. To call it again, you need to make another seal.

Nine roles, each in two tiers: normal and super

Predator

Attacks its owner's target in melee. The first one is a dog.

Familiar

Utility and exploration: picks up loot and sees further.

Pack beast

Carries items for those gathering far from town.

Guardian

Takes the hits in its owner's place.

Healer

Heals its owner every so often.

Hunter

Attacks from range.

Arcanist

Attacks with magic.

Devotee

Makes its owner's Aura last longer.

Priest

Blesses its owner with combat bonuses.

Invention: how it will work

Potions. The game has none today: food heals and Aura gives bonuses. The inventor mixes herbs and monster parts in a vial and makes combat potions, antidote, dragonfire protection and skilling potions.

Made-to-order potions. You choose the base, which decides the effect, and the reagent, which decides whether it is strong and short or weak and long.

Weapon parts. Oils, elemental cores and capsules that give the weapon in hand more damage, an element or a borrowed special attack, for a number of hits.

Questions about the roadmap

When does Summoning arrive?

No date. It arrives in parts: first the dog, with the whole loop of talisman, altar and seal; then the other roles.

Can I have more than one creature at a time?

No. One creature at a time, and each has its own lifespan.

Will the new skills be paid?

No. Every skill in TankPVP is free; the shop only sells looks.

Start with nothing. End up owning a route nobody else dares to cross.

TankPVP runs in the browser, on desktop and on mobile. Nothing to install, nothing to pay.
